The Lincoln County Assessor’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Clerk I. Applicants must have good communication and public relation skills, knowledge of basic accounting, computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Note: This is an entry level position with the expectation it will move into an appraiser’s position. All training and classes will be provided by the county. Must be able to work directly with current appraisers. An ad-valorem license is required within 3 years of hiring. Once licensure is achieved, employee will be moved into an appraisers payscale. Applicants must attend ongoing training to keep their license. Base salary starts at $3066 per month plus health insurance and other benefits. The first step raise will occur after six-month probation period.
